County Auto Keys provides full, professional auto locksmith services to South Wales. We specialise in replacing and programming car keys, and gaining entry to vehicles. Our Background

Our owner, David, started his career as a locksmith's apprentice in 1997 at a well-established Newport-based lock and safe company. He was taught from the bottom up as a bench locksmith and then progressed to a locksmith engineer, providing call-out services for lock opening and repair. This included safe, vault, and vehicle work, along with non-destructive warrant of entry work for bailiffs. He became self-employed in 2003, where he continued his career and gained some high-level customers such as the Celtic Manor Hotel and Resort, British Gas, Swalec, and Gwent Police Force. David qualified as a Master Locksmith in 2009 and holds the British Locksmith Institute (BLI) qualification. He began specialising in automotive locksmithing in 2012 to the current day, where by using traditional locksmithing skills and advanced diagnostic equipment, David provides services to general motorists, garages, and large organisations such as the AA, Gwent Police, and the largest car supermarket in Wales, Trade Centre Wales.

Roadside Service for Lost, Damaged or Stolen Car Keys

County Auto Keys provides a roadside service for lost, damaged, and spare car keys. If you have locked your keys in your car, lost them, or damaged them, then we can help! We carry stock of replacement locks and ignition cylinders if yours were to fail and need replacing.

We can supply spare keys and remotes for when you've lost, damaged, or had your original stolen.

Professional Auto Locksmith

We can travel to your vehicle in our state-of-the-art mobile workshop. Once with you, we can safely gain entry to your vehicle, then produce a new key even if you do not have one. Then, with dealer/dealer-level diagnostic equipment, we can program the key to the car. Also, if required, we can erase any old keys and remote information from the car's memory for security purposes. Not all vehicles require a remote control, so as a backup, a manual key will be the perfect solution to get you out of a situation where you find you have locked your keys in your vehicle or have lost your main key. A manual key will allow you access into your car and also start the engine. We also provide a service where you might have an immobiliser fault due to your key, and we can re-set modules and re-program keys due to flat batteries. Sometimes a simple repair to your existing key can be carried out, which can save you a great deal of money over purchasing a new, complete key.
